Voters across Tendring have been to the polls to elect eight councillors to County Hall.

The election for all Essex County Council divisions in the district took place on Thursday, 7 May, with the count taking place overnight at Clacton Leisure Centre.

The overall turnout was 42%.

Ian Davidson, Deputy Returning Officer, thanked everyone who played a part in delivering the election.
